"Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored." Titus 2:3-5 (NASB)

Tiany's Monday Meanderings has helped me tremendously in giving me some accountability to get some things done. Because it has been working so well for me, I decided to start a new meme for the weekends. I typically get through the week and find that there are some things I'd like to get done over the weekend in preparation for the next week. So the thought occurred to me - why not start a meme designed for that purpose - accountability for me to get done those things I want to do on the weekends.
Therefore, beginning December 7th (this coming Friday), I will begin Whatever Weekends. Whatever Weekends is designed to give us all an opportunity to post what we'd like to get done over the weekend. I will literally try to go through and check things off my list as I get them done. Checking them off gives me an added sense of accountability. This meme is not intended to be some rigid list that you have to abide by. It's simply a tool for those of us who'd like a little extra accountability in getting tasks done that we want to get done. I will post Whatever Weekends each Friday.
If you'd like to join Whatever Weekends, click on the graphic above. A new box will open with the graphic inside. Right-click on the graphic and save it to your computer. Simply post your list of things you'd like to get done on the given weekend on your blog, include the graphic in your post, and then come back here and sign the Mr. Linky. I hope this will be a blessing to us all.
The ultimate goal of Christian home education is to train children to impact the world for God. We want our children to not only hear and learn God's Word, but also be doers of God's Word. Therefore, we strive to teach them:
SERVICE - How to serve God and others
ACHIEVEMENT - To do the best they can in all they do from academic subjects to chores to serving others and more
LOVE - To love God and one another
TRUTH - To live their lives based on the absolute Truth of God
The name of this blog is the acronym for these four areas that we strive to teach our children:
S.A.L.T. - Service, Achievement, Love, Truth
