~ My Current Memory Verses ~

"Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored."
Titus 2:3-5 (NASB)

~ 2009 Theme Verse ~

"Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass"
I Thessalonians 5:24 (NASB)

~ I Have an Update ~

Okay - here's the scoop.  The second test came back showing that the baby's lungs are still immature.  The doctor recommended to try to get me as close to 38 weeks as we can.  So....I go tomorrow for an ultrasound and regular visit.  Then I'll go back on Monday for another ultrasound.  I'll go next Thursday for the monitoring and by then we will probably discussing a date to be induced.  It looks like I will probably be induced at the end of next week or the first of the following week.  So please just continue to cover me and this baby in prayers as we continue on in this pregnancy.  I am having to really try to take those worry thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ.  I know that this baby as well as myself are both in God's hands.  God knows the right time for this precious baby girl to come into this world.  May God's peace just flood my entire being.

God knows the right timing for everything. Unfortunetly, it is not always ours. I will be praying that during this time of waiting He will bring you peace and protection for both of you.

Wow. My baby was born at 37 weeks and his lungs were just fine. He was tiny, but everything was fine. We'll keep praying for you :)

Just to encourage you - both our girls came exactly 2.5 wks. early (c-section), both were exactly 6 lbs. even at birth, and both of them were fine with their lungs and everything. Not always to tests prove correct - they thought my first daughter would be a good 7 lbs. and the dr. was so surprised when she was 6 lbs. Praying God's Peace & good health to both you and your baby in the exciting days to come.

Hang in there! :) Wow! You have had so many ultrasounds. I bet that makes you feel better. I was ticked that my insurance only allowed me to have one ultrasound with my last pregnancy even though I had a difficult pregnancy and delivery with my first. Well, because no ultra sound was done, they let my little one go a week over and he was almost too big to deliver (for me). They thought he was in the 7lb range and he was really 8lbs 14oz. Next time (if there is a next time) I'm going to insist on a late term ultra sound even if we have to pay out of pocket to check development and hopefully induce early. Good luck and my prayers are with you. Hope you know something soon.

~ A Little About Us ~

The ultimate goal of Christian home education is to train children to impact the world for God. We want our children to not only hear and learn God's Word, but also be doers of God's Word. Therefore, we strive to teach them:
  1. SERVICE - How to serve God and others
  2. ACHIEVEMENT - To do the best they can in all they do from academic subjects to chores to serving others and more
  3. LOVE - To love God and one another
  4. TRUTH - To live their lives based on the absolute Truth of God
The name of this blog is the acronym for these four areas that we strive to teach our children: S.A.L.T. - Service, Achievement, Love, Truth
