"Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored." Titus 2:3-5 (NASB)

There have been so many of you out there that have prayed and continue to pray for me, our baby and my family. I had an idea. I'd like to compile a list of all the locations of where people live that have prayed for me and our baby girl. I'd like to put this in my little girl's baby book to show how much she and her mommy were covered in prayer. I also would like to put this list in my journal as a reminder for me just how many people have been praying. So here's what I need from you: If you have prayed for me and our baby, whether you've prayed once or have continually been praying, leave me a comment simply stating the state you live in. If you live in another country, you can simply tell what country you live in. You do not have to tell the city. Just simply the state or country is enough. I really appreciate all the praying that's going on in bloggyland for myself and our baby. It means ever so much to me! I can't wait to see how many different places there are where people are praying!
I'm Christy from Kentucky. I have been praying for your mom and you. I can't wait to see pictures of you. You are so wanted and loved by lots of people already.

The ultimate goal of Christian home education is to train children to impact the world for God. We want our children to not only hear and learn God's Word, but also be doers of God's Word. Therefore, we strive to teach them:
SERVICE - How to serve God and others
ACHIEVEMENT - To do the best they can in all they do from academic subjects to chores to serving others and more
LOVE - To love God and one another
TRUTH - To live their lives based on the absolute Truth of God
The name of this blog is the acronym for these four areas that we strive to teach our children:
S.A.L.T. - Service, Achievement, Love, Truth
