"Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored." Titus 2:3-5 (NASB)

Welcome to another Whatever Weekends. If you would like to participate, please click here for guidelines.
I have this weekend and most likely next weekend to work on any more lesson planning. I'm still trying to rest a lot. After the amniocentisis this past Monday, I was given more restrictions. I'm not on complete bedrest (thank goodness!) but I'm supposed to take it very easy. I really am basically camping out on the couch a lot. I'm glad I can get out and take a ride. It's nice to have that change of scenery. So I won't be having any major to-do lists probably for a good couple of months. My focus to-do for right now is rest, rest, and rest some more. I am blessed with a wonderful hubby who has pretty much taken over all household duties and making sure that between him and the children, they get done. Isn't that wonderful? Such a blessing. We are ready for our little girl to be born! The crib is ready for her to sleep in. The car seat is ready to be put in the car on Feb. 5th. My hospital bag is packed and ready for the most part. Arrangements are already made for our other children for when I'm in the hospital. So, we're pretty much ready!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. If you are participating, please sign Mr. Linky below.
Praise the Lord for wonderful Husbands! You are in my prayers this weekend. Have restful and blessed one.

The ultimate goal of Christian home education is to train children to impact the world for God. We want our children to not only hear and learn God's Word, but also be doers of God's Word. Therefore, we strive to teach them:
SERVICE - How to serve God and others
ACHIEVEMENT - To do the best they can in all they do from academic subjects to chores to serving others and more
LOVE - To love God and one another
TRUTH - To live their lives based on the absolute Truth of God
The name of this blog is the acronym for these four areas that we strive to teach our children:
S.A.L.T. - Service, Achievement, Love, Truth
