"Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored." Titus 2:3-5 (NASB)

Okay prayer partners....I need some prayer! Everything went fine today at my prenatal visit. The baby is doing great! My midwife checked my cervix and I am 1cm dilated. While that indicates something is going on, a woman can stay at 1cm for weeks. My cervix was thick. So my midwife did what they call "stripping the membranes." I did a little research about this when I got home. This is a very common technique used when inducing labor. So here's where I'm asking prayer. This particular technique can actually bring labor on in a few days. Please pray that if it be what's best for my baby and myself - that this procedure the midwife did today will work this first time around and that I will go into labor in the next couple of days. It will be so much better to be able to go into labor on my own.
I continue to thank all of you for all of your prayers for our baby and for me.
Oh yes I will pray !!! I pray all may go smooth and well. You are in the Lord's hands and He is in control. Thank you for letting me know when you post. I have been in a blog slump and when someone visits it gets my attention. [0;
Praying... I also had this done, but it didn't work for me. I still needed the drugs to help bring on labor. Once it did start, it only took 45 minutes with my third child. 3 hours with my second. Hmmm. I will pray that the Lord's will be done with your pregnancy. I'm so excited for you!!!
Did you get any more response from the post of Sunday? Hope so.
The ultimate goal of Christian home education is to train children to impact the world for God. We want our children to not only hear and learn God's Word, but also be doers of God's Word. Therefore, we strive to teach them:
SERVICE - How to serve God and others
ACHIEVEMENT - To do the best they can in all they do from academic subjects to chores to serving others and more
LOVE - To love God and one another
TRUTH - To live their lives based on the absolute Truth of God
The name of this blog is the acronym for these four areas that we strive to teach our children:
S.A.L.T. - Service, Achievement, Love, Truth
