"Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored." Titus 2:3-5 (NASB)

Feb. 4, 2008~ Monday Meanderings and Menu Plan Mondays ~
Well, this is THE week! THE week that we will be welcoming our precious baby girl into this world. I am heading to the hospital Tuesday to be induced. Therefore, I have absolutely NO plans for this week or for the next few weeks as far as that goes. My parents will be arriving this Wednesday. I look forward to seeing them and I'm so glad they will be able to come and see their new granddaughter. My children are also very excited to see Mamaw and Papaw. They will be spending lots of time with them while they are here.
Prayer Requests
I just continue to ask anyone who feels led to pray, to pray for me and the baby. Please pray that the labor and delivery will go smoothly and me and the baby will do fine and be fine. Please pray that our little baby girl is healthy and strong.
Thanks to all of you who already have been praying. And another thanks to all of you who will pray.
Also, remember that I'd like to compile a list of all the locations of where people live that have prayed for me and our baby girl. I'd like to put this in my little girl's baby book to show how much she and her mommy were covered in prayer. I also would like to put this list in my journal as a reminder for me just how many people have been praying. Please click on the following link for more details and to participate:
Obviously, I won't be doing any meal planning. My hubby may make some Chinese food tonight (Monday night). Then I'll be off to the hospital to be induced on Tuesday.

I am so excited for you. All my children at Timothy are praying for you and your baby girl. Can your husband post on your blog and let us know that all went well? Have a blessed day and yet the rest that you need.
Praying for you,
Trina

Today's the big day!!! Prayers for all!!! Go TEAM! Makes me think of an episode of The Cosby Show. He was telling a man how to be effective in the delivery room. Push it out, push it out, way out. Can't wait to hear the good news.
Hugs,
Christy
The ultimate goal of Christian home education is to train children to impact the world for God. We want our children to not only hear and learn God's Word, but also be doers of God's Word. Therefore, we strive to teach them:
SERVICE - How to serve God and others
ACHIEVEMENT - To do the best they can in all they do from academic subjects to chores to serving others and more
LOVE - To love God and one another
TRUTH - To live their lives based on the absolute Truth of God
The name of this blog is the acronym for these four areas that we strive to teach our children:
S.A.L.T. - Service, Achievement, Love, Truth
