"Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored." Titus 2:3-5 (NASB)

I'm back with another tea cup to show you. Here you go......
If you look closely, you will see where I got this tea cup. That's right....Prince Edward Island. Several years ago, my family, along with my parents, took a vacation to Prince Edward Island. We really enjoy the "Anne" movies and looked forward to visiting Green Gables. I thought this particular cup was really pretty. It was the perfect buy because it has the picture of Green Gables on it along the name of the island. While we were on vacation at P.E.I., I painted my first ever painting on paper with watercolor pencils. I have the picture framed and hanging on a wall in our kitchen. It's a picture of Anne Shirley and Diana Barry on the beach.

oohhhhhhhhhhhh I just love THIS tea cup ! My family heritage is from P.E.I. My great grandfather owned a ginger ale factory on P.E.I. I pray that one day I will get to go there. That is the ONE spot in all of Canada that I REALLY want to go see. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
Oh, a picture and tea cup! How special. I am not a girly-girl, but I absolutely LOVE the Anne of Green Gables movies! (Right there at the top of my favorites' list, along with Star Wars and Star Trek---LOL)
Pretty tea cup! I've never been to PEI, but we are big Anne of Green Gables fans here. In fact, my oldest daughter's birthday is tomorrow and guess what dvd's she is getting as a gift? lol
I've always wanted to go there, but after seeing your cup, I really really want to go. I collect china cups too. Mine are mostly from our first ten years of marriage. My husband and my mom used to buy them for me on my birthday. Their really special to me. Your cup is so lovely.

The ultimate goal of Christian home education is to train children to impact the world for God. We want our children to not only hear and learn God's Word, but also be doers of God's Word. Therefore, we strive to teach them:
SERVICE - How to serve God and others
ACHIEVEMENT - To do the best they can in all they do from academic subjects to chores to serving others and more
LOVE - To love God and one another
TRUTH - To live their lives based on the absolute Truth of God
The name of this blog is the acronym for these four areas that we strive to teach our children:
S.A.L.T. - Service, Achievement, Love, Truth
