"Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored." Titus 2:3-5 (NASB)

In celebration of finally finishing my new blog makeover, I'm holding my first ever little giveaway right here. I have bought a couple of little things for mom and children. First, I am giving away a brand new video of the Veggietales Jonah movie.
You can stick the video in the VCR and relax with the candle burning that I've included. While relaxing with the candle burning, you can take the time to journal your thoughts about the day or about anything in this pretty journal that has a place for a picture on the front cover.
Here are all the items together that one winner will receive:
In order to enter the contest all I ask is that you leave me a comment. Although it's not required, I would really appreciate it if you tell others about the giveaway on your blog. If you would like to do that, you can copy the contest graphic by clicking on the contest graphic at the top of this post. A new window will open with the graphic in it. Right-click on that graphic and save it to your own computer. Please link the graphic back to:
Thanks for commenting on my Monday Meanderings post. Your blog looks very pretty! (I'm working on improving mine this month, too: do you have a source for some of the graphics?)
I also read a couple of your other posts, such as the one about healthy eating, and I just wanted to say that I am so glad we've started young with lots of vegetables and fruit. It was very heartwarming to hear my 21-month-old calling out at supper last night "moooore ve'a'bles [vegetables]!" continually!
I posted about your giveaway on my blog. Hope everything is well. Just wanted to stop and say hi. I didn't know I would get this opportunity. Thanks Karen.

Do you want anymore mice?? We have around 25 little critter's, they are in cages though. I'm just like you, I don't like the little critter's running through the house. Luckily these are caged up. LOL
I love your blog layout, cozy and warm feeling.
Blessings,
Lynn

The ultimate goal of Christian home education is to train children to impact the world for God. We want our children to not only hear and learn God's Word, but also be doers of God's Word. Therefore, we strive to teach them:
SERVICE - How to serve God and others
ACHIEVEMENT - To do the best they can in all they do from academic subjects to chores to serving others and more
LOVE - To love God and one another
TRUTH - To live their lives based on the absolute Truth of God
The name of this blog is the acronym for these four areas that we strive to teach our children:
S.A.L.T. - Service, Achievement, Love, Truth
