Hello all! I thought I would take a moment to update my blog since I have not done so in a while. My sister and nephew moved back to Indiana three weeks ago and so we have a full house once again. It is a joy to have them with us. My nephew is 16 months old and he is so adorable. One of these days I will post some pictures on my blog. Our household is very busy but I am so thankful to have precious moments with my family even in the midst of the busyness.
We have begun gardening again this week. The temperature has been in the high 70's and perfect weather for planting early cool-weather crops. We may have a light freeze on Monday and so we are going to wait until after May 10th to plant our tomatoes and peppers. On Wednesday we had someone till our garden. It will be 65 by 80 again this year. Last year we broke up the ground with a 10 foot disc but the dirt clods had to be hoed by hand. That was not an easy task! This year we had it tilled deep and fine and the ground is crumbly and moist. I am completely fascinated with my newly plowed plot. This is our second year to have a family garden. It is alot of hard work and effort but it is very rewarding. This morning we planted three rows of cabbages which was around 50 plants. We have 20 more cabbage plants to set out. We also will plant some celery and romaine lettuce. They do not seem to mind the cooler temperatures.
I will try to write again soon!
Blessings and peace,
Sharra

Hello friends! It has been several months since I have updated my blog. I hope that all is well with you and yours.
I took a break from blogging for a time. At first I did not really intend to take a break for so many months. The past few months have been very busy and since September I have not been online to blog. I have missed many of my friends and hope to visit your blogs soon!
My sister and nephew moved back to Kentucky to live with her father. My nephew's skull fracture healed completely (Praise the Lord) and he is now walking and running all over the place. My step-father experienced an accident at work and severed his calf muscle in two while driving a floor jack. My sister wanted to move back to Kentucky to help take care of him. Since that time, my step-father has healed and returned to work again.
I will try to update my blog again soon. I have some new pictures to add.
Blessings, grace, and peace in the Lord,
Sharra
