The Simple Woman’s Daybook – April 6, 2009

The Simple Woman’s Daybook – April 6, 2009

Outside my window... it is a cloudy day but I am listening to the cheerful windchimes outside my office window.

I am thinking... about the things that I need to accomplish this afternoon and for the rest of the week.

I am thankful for... salvation in Messiah, the Passover Lamb who takes away the sins of the world.

From the learning rooms... we are on spring break this week but the children are enjoying their independent reading.

From the kitchen... baked potatoes, salad, and French bread for our evening dinner. This must be our Monday night meal because we had this last week too.

I am wearing... a cozy sweater and my favorite hat.

I am creating... meal plans for the rest of the week.

I am going... to greatly enjoy catching up with good friends from Indiana when they come to visit us this afternoon. We are going to a coffee shop this evening for Bible study and I am looking forward to some good worship music too.

I am reading... a few books on Passover to prepare for the season.

I am hoping... that people we know who have prayer needs will be comforted.

I am hearing... the hum of the furnace because it is a cold day in Missouri.

Around the house... laundry is going, I am working in my office, and the children are enjoying the afternoon. We are busy preparing for our guests who will stay with us this week during the Passover season.

One of my favorite things... I love colorful stationary and I need to write a few letters to friends.

A few plans for the rest of the week: preparing for Passover, preparing for house guests, working on assorted tasks that need to be accomplished for work, and enjoying the children’s break from the regular school routine.

Have a blessed week and happy homeschooling!
