We have a baby
|
Schooling at home
Today my kids are not doing Language Arts, or Math, or History, or Science, no wait, this might qualify as science???
This morning we were all out in the barn bright and early to see our first set of kids being born! Our homeschool is officially studying Animal Husbandry, which is, I do believe, a branch of science. The neighbor kids came to help so we have socialization too.
Three kids, 1 doe, 2 bucks, one came breech and is fine. I pulled it. I LOVE HOMESTEADING and HOMESCHOOLING!
Joyfully,
Cheryl

I'm jumping over here from the SL Refugees! Glad to see you here and I'll add you to my friends list. How exciting to have a new baby deer. What a learning experience. We caught tadpoles at the park Thursday for school!

than 99.9% of ps kids get!!! It's so great that your kids are involved in something REAL! Glad to add you to my list of friends.
My dh had talked about moving from sububia to a farm last year - we went to seminary instead. But who knows where God will place us?

That's the kind of education that STICKS!! I'll bet if you ask them twenty years from now if they remember that day of school, they will remember.
