Who said you have to wait for a birthday to have cake?!
- Bake your hubby's favorite cake for absolutely no other reason than to show him how much you love him... Be sure to write or buy the candy letters that will spell "SHMILY" on top! (If your hubby prefers pie, than you can do the same... especially if it's one with a crust top... just cut out the letters "SHMILY" from dough and place on top!)
- One cake I LOVE to make is called "Red Velvet" cake... it literally is red and I make it in a heart cake pan. It's great! The kids love it too! Chocolate cream cheese frosting is a favorite to put on top as well, but anything works because the cake itself doesn't have any flavor (really!). There are homemade recipies, as well as boxed.
- For those of you who are "kitchen challenged", it might be best if you just bought a cake and had them write SHMILY on top... it would also be a great way to share the story (at the bakery or grocery store) and maybe improve someone else's marriage!
