The Five Senses Lapbook

Posted in Lapbooks

 PreK – 1st

We did this lapbook in conjunction with a science unit on Us (the human body) and we pretty much did it exactly the way Jamin posted it:

Except:

  • Our taste test was a lot different due to chocolate and citrus allergies, but the concept was the same.
  • Our gluing layout was also slightly different because I traced his hand, which made the “My Touch Book” bigger.
  • In our “My Touch Book” we put pieces of: cotton, sandpaper, Christmas ribbon, eyeglass cleaner felt, foam packaging paper the kind used to wrap china.
  • We used stickers for the 5 sense flap-book from our massive sticker collection; but drew in The Five Senses mini-book.
