Is Your Home a Ministry to Visitors?
I like to "dress" my home in a manner that tells the world I am a Christian as well as shares what my priorities in life are.
Not only is this a ministry in and of itself to others who stop by, it blesses you!
For example, when I pass by a particular plaque with a strengthening verse, I am encouraged in my faith! I am reminded to be at rest, and peaceful. God has everything under control.

If you're anything like me, depictions of Jesus held fast to the cross he was sacrificed on are uncomfortable to view.
I want to remember His rising. His victory.
I do not like to think of his pain, agony, sore mistreatment and death.
However, this is a particularly important thing to remember day to day. I am a sinner. I did not deserve what Jesus did for me.
Somehow, seeing this piece, reminds me of the magnitude of what was done for me.
Discomfort is good. It keeps me from taking my salvation for granted in any way, shape or form!
