Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside My Window...gray and cloudy,

I am thinking...that it was a year ago that we found out we had to move and then God, in His marvelous way, blessed us with a house!

I am thankful for...my house! Because I know this is the house God meant for us to have.

From the kitchen...maybe I'll bake this afternoon, if we get our schoolwork done.

I am wearing...my snowman pajamas.

I am creating...a red knitted square, my dd is learning to knit and since I haven't done any knitting since I was 12, I'm refreshing my memory.

I am going...nowhere today, Monday is my 'stay-at-home' day.  I might pop out to the library tonight to pick up a movie I reserved("Persuasion" by Jane Austen).

I am reading...Country Living magazine, May 2008 issue.

I am hoping...that the fish we just bought, live a long and happy life!

I am hearing...my kids finishing breakfast in the kitchen.

Around the house...I have piles of smoky laundry, results of a Father/Son campout this past weekend!

One of my favorite things...an uninterrupted cup of tea.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:to finish the piles of smoky laundry, to finish organizing our utility room(I started in March and it's been sitting, unfinished since!)

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

This is the tree in the neighbour's yard across the street.  As we don't have any trees planted in our front yard(yet!), it's giving me something pretty to look at right now from my living room window.

Fun Daybook post - it's nice to know what everybody's up too! Very pretty tree - our trees are just now getting little leaf buds on them, it's been a long, cold winter. Have a Blessed Week!
