Encouraging Sunday #13

Nothing you do for your children is ever wasted.
They seem not to notice us,
hovering, averting our eyes,
and they seldom offer thanks,
but what we do for them is never wasted.
Garrison Keillor

No, they seldom say 'thank-you',
at least not until they're older.  It wasn't until I was 19 and away from home that I realized all that my mother did for me.
Then when I got married and had kids, I realized it even more!

My son who is now 4, once said "Thank-you" after I had changed his diaper.
So, it does happen from time to time!

"Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:"
Psalm 31:28

From time to time! And it's always nice when you hear those sweet words! :)

Yep, I keep telling myself that this is a season of sowing, not so much reaping. One day...
