Colour Choices

For Show & Tell this week, I'm sharing some of the changes we're making around here.

This is what happens when you let a 4 yr old pick the colours for his bedroom:

I guess that's not entirely true.  I actually picked the green.  I picked it when this was supposed to be the 'new baby's' room.
We since changed our minds about who was going to sleep where and we're in the middle of a big bedroom rearrange.

Anyhow, we had already bought the green and when it came time to paint, my son liked it too.  He also wanted his favourite colour; purple as well as brown.
Although I don't really like all of those colours together, it is only paint(so Hubby always says!  Having been a painter, it's not a big deal to change the colour in the future, if need be) and at least he(our son) is happy!

Here are a couple of shots with different lighting:

Wow, now that's colour! Someone told me once that if you can coordinate unusual colours, you have to have a true artist's heart. I'm glad your son likes it.

I never would have thought to mix those colors but they look great.

We let our kids choose the paint colors too. They love it and are happy campers. These are soothing colors and really not a bad mix! One of our kids wanted a black room...thats where I drew the line and said no! He settled on a pleasing grey with a darker grey trim!

Wow ! You all are so creative and it looks soooooo modern. [0= It would look good with some cool train plain posters. I would love a updated pic after all his paraphanillia is put up.

Please tell your ds he has a COOL room for me. ((HUG)) Ohhhh have you done your "C" pic yet. You can do "C" for Colour. [0;

Those colors look good together, although I would have never thought of that combination.

Blogger is so much easier and quicker to use than hsb! Plus, you can write a post and schedule it to post whenever you want.
The blog was easy to create too.
Hsb had begun shutting down on me and was giving me a hard time when I tried to post pictures. It took me 30 minutes to complete a post. Ugh!
Blessings,
Pam
