A New Use for Something Old
Our church has recently switched from pews to chairs.
People were having to sit out in the foyer and not wanting to turn people away, they found that they could fit more people in the sanctuary with chairs. It also made the sanctuary more usable for other purposes.
I was sad to see the pews go as I like the look of them better than chairs, but I understand the reason.
Anyhow, we were able to obtain an old pew. Hubby wanted it more for posterity than actual necessity. We already have benches that fit our kitchen table, so it went in our 'study', which is really just a glorified hallway that leads upstairs.
Well, I found a new use for an old pew!
It makes a great place to fold laundry!!
