It's been a while since I've done a Show & Tell, but last week I received something I just had to share!
My Hubby went away to the Oregon Coast for the weekend. When he returned he presented me with this and said:
Since you couldn't come to the beach,
I brought the beach to you!"

Isn' that just the sweetest thing?! He brought home some sand, rocks, driftwood and even sea grass and arranged them in a bowl for me! This is what the whole thing looks like:
I had it as a centerpiece on our kitchen table for a few days, but the temptation for little hands grew to great and so I moved it outside to our picnic table.
Now, when I feel like a quiet moment to myself, I just look at my little 'beach', close my eyes and I can hear the waves!

That's sweet! Maybe you could find one of those little rakes so you can play in it!

That is soooo sweet. I know you will treasure it. My dh stood on sand from bermuda and brought it home to me with a little moon circle when we were newly engaged. In Bermuda, newly married couples stand inside moon circles after they marry. I still have that sand and miniture moon circle.
Blessings,
Dawn
