LOVE the cake!! What a fab idea ;) I'm going to have to remember this one for M's 4th bday next year. To bad about the booksale but it's always nice to connect with new homeschoolers :) Have a blessed Sunday tomorrow.

I'm glad that you got to connect to other homeschool families and moms - that helps compensate what you didn't make in $.

I seem to be following suit ..."better late than never". I have been sooooooooo busy it isn't even funny. But here I am ! I absolutly LOVE love love this cake idea. My two youngest LOVE lego and I just asked my soon to be 9yo if he wanted a lego cake. [0= Yup that was a winner of a idea ! I love how simple but soooooo much fun these cakes are. [0= I can't wait to make it the first week of Sept.

Great idea! I made a large Lego brick cake once, but the small ones put it in context better.
And glad you made a bit of money and had fun connecting. That's sort of what I did at my yard sale. Didn't make too much, but enjoyed visiting with my neighbors.
