Yesterday, when my Mother-in-Law stopped by, she totally surprised me.Let's just say that I haven't always gotten the most positive feedback from her on homeschooling her grandchildren. I have prayed that someday soon she would see the fruit. Well yesterday was that day.
While we were talking about my daughter not being in school , she admitted that we had done the right thing by taking her out of the school when we did (which was in 4th grade and 3 years ago). Not only that but she also said that Kalene has had the best opportunity to become herself without being influenced by her peers at school. I was so glad for her to notice some of the positives for a change.
My husband and I have never allowed anyone's opinion to interfere with our convictions for homeschooling our children. But it is still nice to know that we are gaining a little ground in this area. Praise God for small victories too!
