Spring Thoughts

Posted in Random Thoughts

We've been enjoying the Spring weather that we've had the last couple of days.  We raked up the yard and cleaned out the flower beds.  I still have a bit to do with the back yard yet.   We are going to need a lot of dirt to fill in some low spots in the yard that have appeared over the winter.  We also need to lay some seed.  The rains and the dogs have done a number on the yard.

I am looking forward to seeing my pretty flowers again.  The  Irises, Lilies, and Hydrangeas are already growing.  The kids stayed out until 9:00 last night playing basketball with a bunch of neighbor kids.  After being inside so much this winter all the kids were happy to hang out together as late as they possibly could.

While I was on my way to my sisters for a barbeque on Sunday I heard a horrible grinding noise coming from under my car.  So I pulled into 7-11.  My swaybar broke and my brother in law came to my rescue and detatched it so I could at least drive the car home.  I think this is a leftover issue from the accident I was in near Christmas.  I am getting pretty tired of dealing with car problems.  Rich is going to fix it tomarrow afternoon.  He did a sidejob this weekend so we have some extra money to cover the costs.  But still I never like spending money on broken cars.   Especially since we just had to do a break job,  get all new tires and an alignment.

We finally had a call from someone wanting to look at our house.  We cleaned frantically and loaded up the dogs and went for a ride.  When we came home we were pretty sure noone came into the house.  This is the second time we've been through this.  Our new realtor spent a week trying to contact the other agent to find out what happened.  He finally heard back from them.  Apparently they went to the wrong house and couldn't get the lockbox to work.  Well duh, it was the wrong house!  So I am hoping they'll still want to see it.  We have chosen the worst time to list our house.  The market in Michigan is almost nonexistent.  But we'll wait patiently through the summer to see what happens.

Alrighty, well that's enough randomness from one post.  Hope everyone is have a wonderful week.

You know if you get someone to look at the house, our kids are going to nag you to death to move into our neighborhood.
