I am wondering how popular comic book collecting still is today?  My brother used to collect quite a few things when he was younger, one of which was comic books.  With all the new movies out lately that are based on comic book heroes, I have been thinking that it might be a neat way to get Richie reading.  I was thinking he might find the comic books to be a bit more fun than a regular book.  At the very least it would be a nice break from the ordinary for a change. 

Then I was thinking that if we are going to get him some comic books, maybe we should check out a Comic Price Guide to be sure that we are getting comic books that are worth what we pay for them.  Rich and I don't know much about comic book collecting.  So I'm just wondering how many people still do collect these.   I know Richie loves all of the superhero movies, maybe now he can turn that into a love of reading too.
