Work has been really slow lately for Rich which is why he made the choice to go back into the union and work for another company.  After having his own business full time this was a very humbling thing for him to do.  He still does some work for his business.  But it has been kind of nice to have a steady income and health insurance. 

Not having health insurance for us was the biggest downfall to having our own business.  We still were able to get health insurance for the kids through the state. So they were safe, but we were out.  I have thanked God many times that we never needed health insurance during those two years.  I'm not sure what we would have done. 

Well work is slow again, and this time it is slow for his employer.  So that health insurance we've been enjoying is scheduled to run out sometime in the next month.  I sure do wish we could take advantage of this opportunity for health insurance Florida style.  Hopefully either he'll find another company to work for or work will pick up for his current employer.  Otherwise we will be shopping for our own health insurance.
