I have been thinking over why Rich's business did not take off like it should have. He had a lot of work for a while. In fact he had so much work, it was not unusual for him to still be working at 9:00 pm. And he still had a hard time keeping up with all of the work that was coming in for him. It was a really stressful time for us all.
So I have been asking myself what could have made it easier . I truely believe that we came to a point where we had so much work that we needed to hire employees. However, by that point in time we were pretty much tapped financially. It was not until after Rich went back to work for someone else that it finally hit me. There was a way out of the rut we were stuck in.
If we had applied for one of those Small Business Loans we would have been able to hire and pay our employees. Once we got through the initial period things would have started running a bit more smoothly. Anyways with how shaky things are right now, I am just reevaluating all of the things we did right and wrong the last time we really were trying to get our business off the ground. And it was soaring for a while. Unfortunately it was way too much work for one man to do alone.
