With my new quest to get healthy, I found out that I really should be eating more fish.
I have to admit to you that I have never been a huge fan of seafood. Really any kind of seafood. I am trying hard to like different kinds of fish. But that is only because I know that it is really good for me.
I have always been the odd one out in my family as far as seafood goes. growing up, while everyone else was feasting on some form of seafood or another, it was all I could do not to get sick from the smells. I remember how weird I thought everything looked too. I mean things like Gulf shrimp, clams, and sardines.
But I have to say that the worst thing they ever ate in my house when I was growing up is oyters! Now I do not mean to offend any of you oyster eaters out there. It is just that whenever I even think of the slimy things my stomache turns. I can still smeel them right now as I type this. That is the worst smell ever!
So although I am trying to be a grown up and like things like fish. There are just some things that I do not think I will ever get over.
