I am thinking of the different options for vacations this year.  Yes, I know that summer is right around the corner.  But I still have yet to make a final decision.  Where will we end up.  It seems like this blog has seen a lot of posts by me about a possible vacation to one place or another.  I was thinking it might be neat to rent a car I was thinking that it might be a good idea.  With all of the car troubles that I have had lately, I am not too sure about putting on a bunch of extra miles.  Plus with the overwhelming price of gas these days we would definately need to take our compact car instead of the truck.  And when I say compact I mean extremely small and uncomfortable.  So I think it would be kind of neat to get a car that's a little bigger and good on gas at the same time.  Any ideas?  Have you ever rented a car for a vacation?  What are your thoughts on car rental?
