I was surprised to hear a statement that someone made to me the other night.  What they said was that the divorce rate is higher among christians than it is among non-christians.  Does that just seem like the most disturbing statistic to you?  I know it does to me.  

It got me thinking about why this is.  I really do not "know" why.  But I do have a couple of ideas.  For one thing, maybe these aren't christians who are living their lives for God.  Do we not realize that the enemy isn't concerned about the marriages of non christians.  There is no threat from them.  But we know that two are better than one.  And that a three strand cord is not easily broken.  So which one would you try to get rid of? 

I find the statement that my friend made saddening.  I am pretty sure it saddens God to see so many unions fail.
