Well we just got done showing our house for real for the second time in almost a year.  It is kind of funny because we have our house listed very low.  But with all of the foreclosures in our area we can't really compete.  Yesterday our realtor called to tell us that he thinks we need to lower it.  Keep in mind that it is almost 30,000 lower that what we could have sold it for just 4 years ago.  His reasoning was that we haven't had any calls to see the house.  We will not be lowering the house!  Today we get a call to see the house! 

So I'm sitting here with a very clean house.  The cleanest its been since the last showing when the people never showed up.  This time they spent 45 minutes checking out the house.  I parked at the end of the street and stalked them until they left.  I don't know what they thought about the house.  But after a half hour in the house and another 15 minutes in the driveway, I think they had enough time to think about it. 

It's so funny because we've recently come to the place where we are content with staying in this house.  In fact we just brought all of our stuff home from storage.  So I guess we'll wait to see what happens next. 

But I have to add that there really is so better motivator to get the house cleaned than thinking that strangers will be coming through your house checking out all of your stuff.
