When my kids were little I began a habit that I think is very important if you would like to keep track of your things. I would write their names on everything.This was a useful thing to do since there were several occasions when some little kids in the neighborhood would claim that something belonged to them when it actually belonged to my child It was very easy to find the spot where I would have wrote their names, or initials and point it out to the other party as evidence that it did indeed belong to us.
There is a new high tech way to do this same thing that promises to be even more efficient tool in tracking down our items even if they are lost somewhere.
