Homeschool Closet Giveaways!!!

Posted in Giveaways, Contests and Such

Thanks to Valerie at Christian Preschool Printables for this great giveaway idea!  I am asking you to "invest" some time, but it will be well worth it, even if you don't win ;-)  Oh, what might you win?

A Reason for Handwriting Manuscript A  This is brand new; I ordered it, then realized my daughter was already past this level, so let's get it off the bookshelf (or out of the homeschool closet!).  This is for kindergarten level; click on the title for more info.

Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons  It's true, I'm giving this away.  I bought it at a used curriculum fair at a steal (I already have my own copy).  It is yellowed on the outside but looks unused on the inside!  We've found this to be the easiest way to learn how to read and can add more phonics "rules" as needed.

What do you have to do?  Check out Cindy Rushton's Organized Mom Super Set; it's available for half price through September 7th!  I love Cindy and all of her information:  books, audios and websites!  Take a look around her sites! I have just recently "discovered" Cindy and her wealth of Biblical-based knowledge, and I want to share it!  Let me know if you're a member of her Let's Get Real Yahoo! Group

Then, 1: comment back here about Cindy and 2: tell me which item you'd like to be entered to win!  If you're interested in a "sneak peek" from Cindy, e-mail me (on my sidebar), and I'll reply with the links to download audio and handouts for A Quick Start for Notebooking Mini-Set!  It'll be a great preview to what new products she has coming soon!!

The drawing will be Sunday, September 14th, right before I go to bed...let's say 10ish.  I'm willing to mail to the U.S. and Canada; any Aussies or Kiwis would have to pay for shipping by PayPal; sorry.

Thanks for stopping by,

Danielle

Oh Danielle, I love Cindy too. I just discovered her back in June, when I finally came to grips with the fact that I needed some guidance in my homeschool journey. I am a member of the Let's Get Real group (which is how I knew about your contest). I don't need either of your books, though they are GREAT books, I love the Reason For Handwriting, but my dd5 is already past that one too! I just wanted to post a comment to give Cindy props, and then if anyone wasn't sure if they wanted to check her out, I'd back you up about how great she is! (Or how great God is through her!)

Blessings,
Rachel

PS I am also doing a giveaway on my blog on Valerie's site if you care to check it out. Of course your daughter might be past what I have too!

*waving hand*

I know Cindy!!! I'm in Let's Get Real!!!! It's me... Shannon!!!

I think Cindy is wise... I think this has good counsel.. I am blessed daily not only from having met her, but all the wonderful ladies over at LGR... some who have become like true sisters to me. Praise God for "extended" family, eh?

I already have 100 easy lessons.. but reason for handwriting sounds good!!! I was looking at that in the Sonlight Catalog for my little guy who is starting K this year... (how exciting is that, one in high school, one starting school... very cool!)

Blessings!
Shannon

A Reason for Handwriting would be great! I loved looking at Cindy's Organized Super Mom set. I have to say that I have never visited her site before and now I need to take a deeper look. I have heard her name, but had not visited her site.

I have received Cindy's emails for a few years now. I was rather disappointed when I lost a lot of her emails, mp3s, chat sessions, etc in a computer crash a few weeks back. She is a really neat lady.

I would be interested in the Teaching your Child to Read book. I have one who is struggling with the reading thing and four more after her that will need to learn, so it would really come in handy.

Sep. 12, 2008 - Great Resource

I plan on looking at Cindy's website more in depth. So far, I really like what I see. My DH wants to be involved in the HS experience, so I have been getting these resources for him. We have had more luck with printed schedules and instructions. Who would have known that an instructors guide would be great for your marriage. Thanks again for the resource. My son will be using A Reason for Handwriting A soon and I would love to give it a new home for you.

I would love the one that helps you teach your child to read! I get Cindy's email newsletters. I'm sure she'll be very helpful as my daughter gets older, right now she's doing preschool, I haven't found alot that Cindy does for that age group. Thank you for the drawing!
