We got SNOW!

Thursday brought a pretty nice snowfall!
The childen were so excited. They have been waiting for enough snow to go sledding on our big hill!
It does look so nice; the world sprinkled with powdered sugar! (Too bad it doesn't bring along the sweetness for people who need a little extra!)
I don't like being concerned about roads/traveling though. Hubby slid off the road in his car today 
on the way home from work (and he is an excellent driver). Thankfully he is fine and the car just has a small crack in the fender.

We originally hail from Massachusetts so we are well aware of the dangers of a slippery road. After the first year here in the south we learned to just stay home. The roads are just not treated as well. My husband drives big rig to the mountains everyweek, so I understand your concern about the roads. It is so beautiful, but definately needs be treated with respect.

Glad to know hubby is fine! Helps me remember why I don't really want snow, sleet, ice here. =/
