Vote No to parents needing teaching credentials!

Parade magazine currently is asking the public to vote online asking if parents should need teaching credentials in order to teach their children.
Click below and vote!! It would be nice to see a positive article about homeschooling in Parade magazine!

I wonder if they will ever start asking if parents need special training to be able to teach their babies how to walk and talk and eat, etc.
(I know it sounds ridiculous but so does the question they are asking now.)

Thanks for passing that on. I voted and was happy to see that 90% were for parents' rights to teach. I will have to pass that on to our co-op as well.
Thank you for the kind words. Your assembly sounds PERFECT! I have just been doing some research on the history of the Brethren as I recently found out that my beloved daddy had been a part of the brotherhood and a "leader" within a Brethren church and my parents were married in the same church. They left that particular church when it unfortunately became United Methodist. But I grew up pretty conservative and still hold to those convictions. A friend of mine who goes to a Brethren church sent me all kinds of information that I am still reading through. I wouldn't mind being a part of that fellowship, but it would be out of my dh's comfort zone. I'm just thankful that we found a pretty good church to be a part of.
What a great flower lapbook too! Can't wait to see your ocean ones when they are complete.
