Tot School: Preschool Activities
Jun. 9, 2008 • 10:19 AM
Here is our Tot School from this past week!

This week, my oldest son read them a story. This wasn't planned. I just caught them this way!

(Notice the backpack, Gram!)
There was also some computer time using preschool themed learning games:

We had fun with musical instruments:

They enjoyed this so much, they played with these on two different days. (This is certainly a toy I keep away - up high. It is a bit noisy for everyday use!
)

We had a lot of time outside enjoying this wonderful weather! Here "Precious" is playing with the ribbon wand. These are a lot of fun. The kids put on pretty shows of color!

We also had an outside picnic. They had fun riding the kid-sized tractors!

...and they really loved getting drenched with LARGE water guns.

Don't get Mom wet!
(They tried!- Thankfully I had the camera!)

We also saw this baby bird this week:
Here is my favorite picture from this past week:

Have a great week Tot Schooling! Remember they learn so much everyday whether you plan activities or just let them be creative!
Love them and Love your times together!!

I LOVE the pic of them together with her holding the big water gun, SOOO funny! The look on his face is great with her looking at him. I need to be brave and bring out the water guns here, mine would love it!!!

I love the one of her putting the drum sticks in her ears! Mine do that too! HAHA!
Great week! And Great reminder about enjoying our time together, planned or not! Sometimes I feel that if I didn't plan much that is wasn't a good week and that's not true!
Thanks again!

Thanks for your comment. It's always good to hear from you!
RYC: Good question. We have a pretty good scanner, and I've been using it for preserving and blogging my work. We can adjust the level of pixels per inch, so they are always quite sharp.
For the Drawing Blog I've just taken photos as I work to save time. I save both kinds (scanned and pics) on an external hard drive and from there I can open them in Photoshop, crop, and adjust the brightness/contrast. After I've saved those I can load them on Photobucket like any other regular picture.
I have never used a digital tablet for drawing, although I've watched people do it, and hear its pretty fun and convenient.
If you have any more questions, my sister and I would be happy to help.
Blessings,
-Breezy

What a fun and busy week. The instruments look like fun. I have a high tolerance for noisy toys, so I am always buying my kids instruments and stuff that DH comes along behind me and hides. lol
