Rice bags . . . we've been using those quite frequently lately as it's getting cold and we are still in the process of getting a new boiler - which means no heat. But they make these cold days extra fun adding bits of warmth wherever they rest.
I had never thought of giving homemade play dough away as gifts - what a sweet idea! I especially like the labels! When we were younger we made a few batches of homemade play dough.
Thank you for participating, it really makes me happy to know that others enjoy the meme too!
Blessings,
Miss Emily Rose

Sorry that you couldn't comment, I'm not sure why it didn't work. If it continues in that way, please let me know and I'll see if there is a bug causing that. Thanks!

Thanks for your comments. You are too sweet. :)
Oh, I'm so excited for you and your girls! The Dolls are so fun! I love going through lace, ribbons, and felt! I will post the instructions some time. I also have a post coming on real hand-sewn dolls the same size as the "wee folk" but they are much more tedious.
Thank you for the ideas - I have thought about making books on "the moss and pebble people" but now it just hit me that there should also be companion dolls! This is definitely an idea I will pursue (more likely after I graduate).
Blessings,
-Breezy

I looked at your recipe for the play dough. I wondered if the tsp and tablespoons were accurate, especially the 4 Tbsp. peppermint. Should that be teaspoons instead?
I had planned to make play dough for gifts soon, anyway, and thought these would be fun instead.
Thanks!

That's a great idea for a kids' Christmas gift. I think I like the gingerbread playdough the best! I love gingerbread!

Rice bags....what can I say? Our rice bags are little treasures around our home. When it is chilly we heat them up and warm up our cold fingers.
I had never thought of giving homemade playdough as a gift. What a nice idea. I am definitely going to share that with my sister for her grandchildren.
Thanks for sharing your homemade Christmas ideas.

Oh, I will have to check out the link. We are exchanging "thrify" gifts for our girls' Bible Study again this year and I need ideas. Thanks for the link and for your play dough recipes - I'll have to try them out.
