MUST SEE: Come What May!

Oct. 28, 2008 • 12:37 PM

Posted in Reviews

I am so excited that there are some REALLY great movies coming out lately! Fireproof is so wonderful and now this awesome movie! It is entitled "Come What May"!

You can even see the whole thing FREE today and tomorrow! (and they have extended the free veiwing 2 more days!! so that would give you until Tuesday of this week!) It is so worth the time. I had to pause it from time to time with 5 kiddos and schooling but I just wanted to keep watching! Here is a quote from this movie:

"My father was right. If you don't believe your wife is precious, you won't cherish her. If you don't believe love is best when it its pure and new, you won't wait patiently for it. If you don't believe the baby in the womb is the living handy work of God, you'll do nothing to protect it!

What do you believe?"

From October 27 - 29, you can help get the word out about this movie in time to help pro-life candidates. Audiences have told us "Come What May" can inspire citizens to vote with their heart, mind, and conscience, and not just their "bank account" or "pocketbook." Millions of unborn Americans are at risk depending on how voters cast their ballots. "Come What May" is known to cause people of "choice" to be decisively for life. It also makes a powerful case for "when life truly begins." Watch the movie. Refer everyone you know to do the same. There is no excuse. It's FREE online. We are making this movie available to millions of voters at great expense because it's important. Make Your Vote Count for Life! And visit Advent Film group  to purchase your DVD copy (only $20 and well worth it!)

The movie is about more than just the preciousness of Life that God has created, it also reinforces the Godly marriage and encourages purity and seeking God's will in our lives! I already purchased my DVD and can't wait to plan the youth group here to watch it!

Here is the movie trailer:

Here's more...

"COME WHAT MAY, a new pro-life family movie has won a Redemptive Storyteller Award for 2008 from the Redemptive Film Festival. The movie tells how Roe v. Wade can be reversed by the U.S. Supreme Court in a dramatic battle of worldviews (Christian vs. secular). The movie has captivated preview audiences nationwide and gained support from pro-life/family organizations. It has also received bids from six distributors.
COME WHAT MAY is a micro-budget feature made by over 40 homeschooled students mentored by a handful of professionals. It was produced by Advent Film Group (AFG) in association with Patrick Henry College (PHC), a true-to-life powerhouse in collegiate debate and moot court competition, whose students are showcased in the movie. But don't let the small budget foul you- this movie is very well done! Advent Film Group was founded to shape culture for Christ and to train the next generation of Christian filmmakers.

Click HERE to read AFG's Approach to filmmaking: Reaching Hearts and Minds! (HOW wonderful!!)

I urge you to go watch this movie! I am sure you will love it as I have. Then get the word out!

I actually already have a special preview edition of the DVD. :-) My friend Leanne's husband (David) did the music for the film.

Thanks for the reminder to post about watching it free online. I received an e-mail about it yesterday but it slipped my mind!

WOW! I won't be able to see the whole movie because of our old, slow computer, but I saw the tailer & about the first 2 minutes and I does look so very good. I think I might have to buy it too - there are several I know that need to see this worthwhile film! I'll put up a post and send people to you/it. Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks for passing on the info about this powerful movie! I just finished watching it and will be posting the info on my blog tomorrow! I received an e-mail from a Homeschooling website just after yours promoting it and I'm so glad I took the time to watch it - very worth the investment of time! May it spur us on to do the right thing!

Please comment back to me or email. Do the young people in this movie become sexually involved? My kids are thru the first part of the movie, and are dying to watch the rest. I am all for the gist of the film, but this is not how I want my girls to find out about this stuff ... please let me know. Thank you :o)

Hi,
Thanks for coming by and for the comment concerning the movie. I got the link for Come What May from a friend on Sunday, but I've had trouble downloading for some reason. We did see a little of the movie, but I'm going to try again this afternoon. It sounds like something we all need to see!
Thanks for sharing, and after I can see the whole thing, I'll come back to share.
Blessings,
Amy O.
