I found a paper today stuck in my desk and it was an encouragement to me. I wish I wrote down where it came from . I am sure it was in a book but I don't know from where unfortunately. I hope it will be a good reminder -and an encouragement to YOU today, too!
Here is what it said:
"Remember, you actually have been teaching your scholar since birth!
Homescholing isn't a sprint, it's a marathon!
So... be sure to pace yourself! Gently lead your scholars in strengthening and stretching their abilities like a personal trainer would an athlete. Instill in them a love of learning for learning 's sake--- for your child's sake!
Slow down and enjoy the journey! (Time flies fast enough as it is)"
