Our Webkinz Party!
Sep. 30, 2008 • 2:51 PM
There is a week in August that we celebrate my youngest son's birthday (the same day as our wedding anniversary) and later in the week is my daughter 's (Princess) birthday. We decided to do a combined party this summer. The theme? What would work for a boy turning 4 and a girl turning 10?..... Well, we found it!

I am late in posting this but here is a slideshow from our party. I will include the games and links below so if anyone is looking to have their own Webkinz party, it might help you plan.
The cake we called the 10-4 cake!
(their ages). It was a square cake with a round cake on top and then cupcakes. A Webkinz figurine was on top with little pictures (printed from the Webkinz site and glued back to back with a toothpick in the middle. Just white icing and sprinkles, it was pretty simple!
We made a Wheel of Wow! using the Classroom Wheel I use in our homeschool. Each child got one free spin and won!
We played Operation Gumball! I had a gunball filled with an amount of gumballs and they had to write their name and guess down. The person that had the closest guess got their choice of kinzcash or a large bag of gumballs!
We also played Wishing Well! For this game, you just need to buckets and an assortment of small balls. I used ball pit balls. You need TWO of each color. A blue, red, yellow, purple and orange ball went into each of the two buckets. They got blind-folded and got to pull out two balls, if they were the same color they won and if not- sorry!
Then we had... Zingoz Bounce
Get a large blowup ball. Each player has to hit the ball to see how long they can keep it in the air without it hitting the ground. You can even set a timer and base the prizes on how long each player was able to keep the ball from falling.
We also had a toss the ball game into a board with holes. We got this from somone and I just added coloring pictures of Webkinz Critters to the board.
They also got to make nametags for the Webkinz they brought and we played volleyball!
The "W" shop was open at the end for the kids to spend their kinzcash. I had candy bags, homemade animal bandanas, small baskets, small working flashlight keychains (could go on the animal's paw and looked like the were holding the light!), homemade coloring books, and how to draw... books, & little username books (tiny address books).
I used this kinzcash! It was a big time-saver. Just print and cut.
It was a lot of FUN!
