Secret Sister: Prayer Requests!
Jan. 10, 2008 • 3:57 PM
Those of you in the blogger Secret Sister Program (Session #3) may have gotten the e-mail from Tamara explaining this but I wanted to ask anyone that reads my blog to please pray for the following prayer requests as you read!

The Secret Sister that I am mailing gifts to has not blogged since Dec.19th. She has not posted about either box I sent in December (which is what we are to do). I know they were delivered to her home. (I sent the packages with delivery confirmation). I tracked them and both were delivered to the residential address I sent them to. I have e-mailed her and so has Tamara, the leader of this great Secret Sister program. We have not heard anything from her. She is missing in action and she used to blog weekly before. She also hasn't mailed things to the Secret Sister given to her. I believe that there is at least one other case of a Secret Sister "missing in action." This is very worrisome. We do not know if they are just having computer problems or there is a serious problem. I believe that most would try to let someone know since they signed up for this obligation (Go to a library or friends to use the computer quickly.etc) so I fear it may be a problem that is fairly serious and keeps her from regularly planned things.

Also pray for Tamara. She leads this program and it is such a wonderful way to encourage others. However, these situations have greatly burdened her heart.
She is very sensitive as it is because she is coping the sad loss of a baby.
She writes"Out of all my years heading Secret Sisters (at least 5+ years of this), I'm sadly hitting a breaking point because my heart is so tender. I've never had ladies unable to respond without knowing the situation. I have never had to do any of this in the past and want to share that this will be my last session leading Secret Sisters.
I'm waving my flag and being honest that I cannot make everyone happy and at this precious time in my life, I am not strong enough to handle the pressure. This takes a LOT for me to state out loud since my my heart is a people pleaser, encourager and usually a tall pillar of strength. I'm not this person anymore since the death of our baby and I don't know that I will ever be this person again. I'm fragile and hurting so deeply to know that some sisters are missing in action and another is hurting because she feels left out. "
I know that the Power of Prayer can move mountains, so if we all team together and pray, the Lord will use this to His glory.
Please pray with me for these families. We may not know the situations but the Lord does!

Here is what was in our package:

This was my favorite thing, the snowman bracelet:

My kids really liked the cute animal pencils!

Thank you! And... thanks especially for praying for my family!
