Wierd Dream

I had this dream that I was in this old store. We were taking a tour of the store. And so, I went down the stairs to find out that there was a kind of gap between the floor and the stairs. I went down and found that it was shaky and had no walls on either side. Then when I got down I thought "I'll never be able to get up there again!"    So I went to look for the elevator. As I told you, this was an old store, the elevator wasn't very good. It was only this thing that would go down and up, with no walls, just a floor. I had come down stairs but I kept going down in the elevator. Then finally I woke up and found that it was a dream.   I was glad!

CANDY, CANDY, CANDY!

I did not know that I would be getting this much candy. I got about 433 pieces or more. I am not sure but I will tell you how I got them. I got the first 50 or more at a costume contest. I got the next 100 pieces at a church. Third I got about 10 or 15 pieces at Grandma's house. Then we went to a race track thing. We went almost half way around it. There I got the next 300 pieces. Then we went to Grandma's house and I got a little over 18 pieces. That's how I got my 433 pieces of candy.

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we went to the pumpkin patch. It was a lot of fun.

First we went in a corn maize and it really was a maze! I also got an ear of corn. Next we went to pick an apple. I picked a nice one and so did my sister. Then we went on a hay ride. It was lots of fun. There were two stops. First it was feeding goats. We were the only ones who didn't do that. Goats smell!  The next stop was the pumpkins! I picked a nice one that didn't have any cracks or mold. Then we went back down to the car and we gathered our lunch things. Then we had lunch.

Here is a picture of my pumpkin.

Camping

We were going to camp two nights, but. . .we had to leave at 2 am! We left because there was a thunder storm. And it was pretty scary. When we got home it was about 3:20. I went to sleep at 3:26. I woke up at about 10:30. I usually wake up at about 8:30.Well, now we have had our breakfast that we were supposed to have while we were camping and our hot dogs too. We even had our Smores that were made in the microwave. We also made some Smores while we were camping.

Going Fishing

Yesterday I went fishing. Everytime I pulled back on the line, I thought I was catching a fish, but it was nothing. Once I did catch a leaf. There was about 13 fish in the pond that saw there was a bobber in the water, but we only caught 1 fish that was alive. The other was dead already.

They had a bonfire and I roasted about 7 marshmellows and 1 hotdog. I ate the hotdog while I was walking to our car.

That's all for now.

One of My Science Mania Cool Things

Today I got to do a science experiment. I made a water wheel. I made it by cutting out 9 egg carton cups and 2 poster board circles. Then I stapled the cups on to the poster board circles. Then I got two huge yard sticks , some clay, a dowel, two spools, and some modeling clay (and some tape). Then I took the wheel part (the egg carton cups and poster board circles) and put a hole in the center of that. I put the dowel through that hole. Next I put the spools on either side of the wheel, through the dowel. Then I put the yard sticks on a bowl. I put clay on the ends of the dowel so it would not slide out of the spools. I taped the spools to the yardsticks. Then I poured water into my water wheel.

It spilled on my pants when my wheel turned around.

Here is a picture.

Book

This is a book named Follow My Leader. It starts out with a baseball game and one boy on a team finds a firecracker and lights it. He accidentally throws it toward a kid named Jimmy. It hits him and he is OK, except his blind.  Um, I can't think of very much now but I think I might post a little later.

A Thanksgiving song

(to the tune of "The Wheels on the Bus)

The pilgrims are coming to town

coming to town

coming to town

The pigrims are coming to town

this Thanksgiving

Not by plane or bus, by BOAT

by boat

by boat

Not by plane or bus, by BOAT

this Thanksgiving

They didn't have to cross a moat

cross a moat

cross a moat

they didn't have to cross a moat

Because they didn't want to be ruled by a King

George Washington's mother is funny.  She died at the age of 81.

Her name was Mary Bell. Then she became Mary Washington. She had four children. She owned a farm when her husband died. It had 9 cows, 9 other cattle, 11 sheep, 19 hogs, and 2 horses. It was called Ferry Farm.
