This is a book named Follow My Leader. It starts out with a baseball game and one boy on a team finds a firecracker and lights it. He accidentally throws it toward a kid named Jimmy. It hits him and he is OK, except his blind.  Um, I can't think of very much now but I think I might post a little later.

Did you know that your Great Grandpa (Grandfather's Dad) lit a fire cracker and then wanted to save it? He thought he had put it out and put it back into his pocket. What do you think happened next? Yes, that is right, it went off and he burned his leg badly, I do not think playing with firecrackers is a very good idea unless you have a grownup with you and your NEVER throw that at someone, or put them back into your pocket......KEEP READING, it is a great thing.
