I think my kids have had it with winter. They are in protest. They are all wearing shorts and t-shirts. I however am wearing a sweater over a shirt, slippers, socks, and jeans. I am freezing and they are fine They are seriously making me cold looking at them. It is suppose to be about 50 degrees today and then back to 40 tomorrow. UGHHH When O' when will this cold end. Ok, I am done complaining now
I talked to the camera shop. My camera will be ready in 2 weeks and will cost $130 I hope the next 2 weeks go by quickly. At least it will be ready for Kiley and Carter's Birthday party.
I am off to clean my kitchen. It still has not recovered from Sunday. My goal is to clean it as if we were having company. But I am not sure it will happen. I have a BAD headache and Carter well.....is being 2.
As I type my husband just called to tell me he found $100 dollars on the ground. We are having 25-30 mph winds here and so maybe it flew out of someone's hand?? I am really sorry for the person who lost it. But thank you Jesus for providing the money to fix my camera.
I better get that kitchen clean.
:>Michelle
I hear you about winter. DD got her capris and spring jacket out this week - but we had more snow last night and it's only in the 20's today.
We are reading "The Long Winter" (Part of Laura Ingalls Wilder's 'Little House' series) and I can truly sympathize!
It just feels like this winter has lasted forever! (and I'm always cold, too!) ;-)
Do they know how the camera broke? How long have you had it? Maybe you'd be better off sending it back. Is it still under warranty? I don't know what kind of camera it was, but that's a lot of money to spend fixing one. You could almost buy a new one...
Anyway, I'm sick sick sick of cold. It snowed and hailed here today. I just hope my flower shoots survive.
How fortunate that your husband found the money! That certainly doesn't happen every day!
Your camera must be pretty nice. I know that you know that cameras are purchased NEW for that price. So, is it like....really nice? 'Cause I'd ditch it if it weren't.
and the $100 that 'blew' into your husbands hands? (so to speak) AMEN. WAHOO.
My husband was praying in the shower this morning and what to do w/ his job situation and just as he stepped out of the shower the phone rang and it was someone who wanted to interview him...for a job he didn't even know he had applied to (I think I did). Yeah GOD.
Winter....umm, that's is why I love the south.:) Hope the warm weather hits you soon. I'm with the kids...it's time for a change. LOL
That is awesome about the 100 dollars. Yea, sorry for that person but then again, who knows..maybe an angel placed it there:)
Thanks for stopping in on my blog. I am blessed to have my blogger friends.
Be blessed,
Stacy
You've got to be kidding!!!! $100? And it just happened to fly into his hand???? Right.
Isn't God good? Are you humbled that He knows what you need, meets those needs before you even speak them, and even tends to your heart's desires as well???
I love God!!!!!!!! This story gives me hope to keep on asking, seeking, and knocking!
I am so in love with Jesus and am seeking to know Him more each day. I am a wife to Jeff and Mommy to 5 children (Bailey 8, Cameron & Collin 6, Kiley 4, and Carter 2). My house is often crazy, but always full of love. This blog is a story of my adventures, God's mercy and grace in my life, and funny days that aren't always very funny at first.
