Bailey went to her friend's house yesterday after Bible study. The boys went to their cousins. I only had the 2 little ones. It was so different. When I don't have all the kids with me I think how different life would be. Jeff came home and said the same thing. We talked about how weird it would be to be just starting out with 2 toddlers. Of course we never just had 2 toddlers. We went from one 13 month old to 3 babies when the twins were born. It seems like so long ago I had 3 in diapers, 3 in cribs, 3 needing me for EVERYTHING. Thank goodness Bailey was a very mature 13 month old-LOL
Then there are times when we take just the 3 older ones and what a different season that would be. To be done with all things baby. Either way when any of the kids are gone our home seems incomplete.
Since it snowed last night Here is a picture to remind me that the winter weather will end. :>Michelle
OH - I LOVE the Summer photos! I can't wait for those days!
DH and I have also had those kind of talks. Our kids are basically 2 'sets' the older two and the younger two. We often say..."What if we only had one set?"
You are right...it just wouldn't be 'complete.'
(I'll bet it would be a lot quieter, though!!!) ;-)
I want to thank you for your comment and suggestion about our dog. Thank you. I will look into that. I am sure there is someone/or some organization that will help us we just haven't found them yet. We will continue to try. Thanks so much.
In the meantime we will continue to love him and do what we do.
I can't say that I'm ready for summer yet, but I am so done with winter!!!
Isn't it amazing how the noise level decreases when just one child is gone? But yes, I can't imagine life without any of them! :)
I'm jealous....where are you that you are swimming already??? It's getting warmer in SC but now swimming weather yet. This weekend is supposed to be in the 50s. Brrrrrr, then back up to the 70s next week.
Love your blog.....
julie
Oh I keep forgetting that you have a pool! Since I am not the size of your house this year I will DEFINITELY be over to swim. Come on Lord, bring on the summer!!!!
I am so in love with Jesus and am seeking to know Him more each day. I am a wife to Jeff and Mommy to 5 children (Bailey 8, Cameron & Collin 6, Kiley 4, and Carter 2). My house is often crazy, but always full of love. This blog is a story of my adventures, God's mercy and grace in my life, and funny days that aren't always very funny at first.
