On Wednesday it was a beautiful windy day! Kiley and Carter got kites for their birthday. When Jeff got home from work we helped the kids fly them. After the first one got stuck in the trees one to many times we moved on to the other. We used the first ones string and were able to get our Diego kite a 100 ft in the air. The kids enjoyed watching it and laughing when it would almost crash. And also were able to hold the string as it soared through the air. Cameron helping his Dad. Collin enjoyed watching and running around seeing where it crashed. up up and away!! Kiley was serious about her job to hold the string
We all smiled so much that day
The boys got a bird feeder for Christmas from our Aunt and Uncle. Jeff also helped the boys put it together and we hung it in our tree yesterday. We love birds and the boys almost daily read their bird books. We haven't seen any birds eating from it yet. We were gone most of the day and then when we were home we were outside. I am sure we will see them tomorrow. My little birds

I love that last one of all of them in the tree! What a great memory!
We haven't flown kites in a LONG time. We just don't have a good place around here where there aren't a lot of wires. :o(
It looks like a great time, though!
I especially liked the 'helping daddy' pictures. You do know that helping of that kind doesn't stop anytime soon. I love when my girls HELP me clean. (haha)
I am so in love with Jesus and am seeking to know Him more each day. I am a wife to Jeff and Mommy to 5 children (Bailey 8, Cameron & Collin 6, Kiley 4, and Carter 2). My house is often crazy, but always full of love. This blog is a story of my adventures, God's mercy and grace in my life, and funny days that aren't always very funny at first.
