I am dog sitting today. I had dogs most of my life. We had a rescue dog a couple years ago, but it peed in the house. And when it peed in my diaper bag, well that's when it had to find a new home. Since then we haven't had any animals. I feel like I am in a season where if it needs to be fed, needs to be cared for, cleaned up after, and poops we aren't having it. I have promised the kids we will get one some day, because I did love my dogs growing up (may they r.i.p.) I do have allergies to most animals and so do some of my kids. So the only kind of dog we can get is little (less hair) and in the bison maltese family.
OK, back to the dog sitting. Really there is a point. My neighbor asked me yesterday if I would mind letting her 2 dogs out. One is very obedient and the other is a beagle. It ran out the door and then I just said in my meanest voice down and it laid down. I was glad that worked, my Mom voice paid off. Then it runs out again. And this time it grabs a baby bunny. It's about 3 inches of tiny fluff. It dropped it and picked it up a few times, before I could hold the dog back. It is a large chubby beagle, so it wasn't easy. I put the little bunny back with it's sibling and got the dog in the house. I hope the mommy bunny doesn't mind me touching it. It was laying on it's back in the grass. I was afraid a hawk would come eat it or it would get lost. We went to check on them and they were both back in their little bed. Luckily, I only have to let the giant bunny eating beagle out one more time, before heading to Bunco. And then the family will be home tonight.

I am so in love with Jesus and am seeking to know Him more each day. I am a wife to Jeff and Mommy to 5 children (Bailey 8, Cameron & Collin 6, Kiley 4, and Carter 2). My house is often crazy, but always full of love. This blog is a story of my adventures, God's mercy and grace in my life, and funny days that aren't always very funny at first.
