Jan. 23, 2009 - Yeah! It's warm enough to play in the snow!!!!
The kids were very excited this week, when it was finally warm enough to play in the snow. We had some seriously COLD days last week. On Wednesday it was near 40, so I even let Carter out. They had so much fun. I guess that's one thing good about snow.
Last week I had to keep reassuring the kids that the snow would still be here as long as it was cold. I felt so bad keeping them in, but -15 is nothing to go out in. In fact we went to church on Sunday and the kids never left the house until Friday night. A local church was having a fun night and I asked Jeff to take them. They couldn't get their coats on fast enough. I smiled and waved good-bye
My mom purchased a Wii and we have been having so much fun playing it. I am not a video game person, so initially I wasn't all that excited. I do like this though. I am even considered a pro-bowler hahaha

My kids want to play in the snow SO bad, but it has been way too cold up here. I don't think we've been outside to play since December. :-(
