A friend of ours gave us their old computer. We thought we could hook it up and the kids could have their own computer. Well it was very old and would need some parts in order to get it up and running. We were going to throw it out, but didn't want to dispose of their hard drive. I had seen other blogs where kids had taken apart electronics.
I told the boys that they could take it apart in place of their Math lesson. They still had to do their practice work They were very excited. It was amazing how fast they could get their work done that morning. Bailey decided she wanted to help them too. I didn't even tell them what kind of tools they would need. It was cool to watch them make decisions and figure out different ways to get it apart. I think I will be saving all our broken electronics for future school projects. They also learned teamwork too!! Ready to go Bailey got the hard drive out.
I am so in love with Jesus and am seeking to know Him more each day. I am a wife to Jeff and Mommy to 5 children (Bailey 9, Cameron & Collin 8, Kiley 5, and Carter 3). We are also expecting a baby boy in October. My house is often crazy, but always full of love. This blog is a story of my adventures, God's mercy and grace in my life, and funny days that aren't always very funny at first.
