The boys are in their first pinewood derby race next week. They are very excited. We let them pick their own themes for their cars and helped them create them. Cameron chose a Red Bull car. He would tell you it's his favorite drink. Not that he gets more than a drink or two from Dad. My husband works for them and so to him it's the coolest thing in the world
I bought Cameron the Red Bull can colors and got stickers from dh. He took tons of time painting and designing his car. He is a detailed kind of guy.
Collin decided on some colors and kept calling it names with the number 3000 in it. He painted his in about 20 min. and I painted some lightning on it and wrote our decided name
How cute!!!! My son competed in his first race like this with our church's RA program last month. He did so well. We put fishing weights in the bottom to make it go faster. He painted his all by his 6 year old self. It is very, um, well, colorful, shall we say. I hope he gets to the detail stage someday. Our cars didn't have the cute drivers in them like yours. That is so neat.
