Well, folks, I have an apology to make. I have not given you a single update on what life has been like for ---- too long. All you’ve had is a bunch of jokes. So, I’m here to earnestly plead for your mercy. Don’t abandon me! I really do have a life, and I’ll most willingly share it with you!
Okay, that aside! What’s up with ya’ll? How many of you are doing school and enjoying it? Count me in! Everything is going wonderfully, and I’m almost done with my second science module besides having FINALLY finished with last year’s science! God has been so good this year in helping me to understand things. The only trouble I’m having is with algebra – but I suppose that’s to be expected, is it not? I wanted to thank ya’ll for the comments. Even when it’s just a simple little ‘howdy’, it brightens my day! Thanks so much! On Saturday we had an open house, but that’s not how my day started. I got up early and went shopping with mom. We went to ARC thrift store – and got a headboard for my bed! It was ½ off, so we got it for $5. Is that the hand of God, or what? It was really wobbly ‘cause of some loose screws, but hey – what are dads for? Now it’s as good as new, and I have to admit that I love it! I wasn’t sure that I liked the flower design on it, but it’s a bookcase headboard, so I quickly and easily covered up the flowers. Now I think that I like them. --- but I can move my books around as my mood changes! Two people (sets of people) stopped in, but no one bought the house. My heart beat seems so much to come out with the rhythm of In God’s time - - - In God’s time - - - etc. Not just about selling our house - there's so many more things than that! But He will give me the grace to trust him, I know. Well, I meant for this to be longer, but I need to get going. God bless you all! Emily |
