Planning a creative school year...
Okay, so I've been racking my brain these past few days trying to come up with unique and interesting ways to make the upcoming school year creative and exciting for my children. I'm mostly looking for ways to make learning fun and exciting to my youngest DD who tends to get frustrated easily with busy work and schooling in general. Of course when the frustration come in so does the willingness to continue to try at whatever she may be doing at the time. So, I'm trying to come up wth new ways to make learning easier and fun to keep these occurances from happening so frequently.
Lapbooking is something that the girls enjoyed doing for science last year, so I plan to incorporate more lapbooking in our schooling. I'm going to take the girls shopping for lapbooking supplies to make our books unique and beautiful as well as informative on what we've learned. I really feel using neat and decorative supplies will help with the creative process in trying to put together knowledge and design to make learning fun for them.
So, in the next few weeks we will be gearing up for school again. Making new plans and coming up with new ways to keep the learning process fun and exciting, because if there's one thing I've learned while homeschooling...learning must be fun and creative to be productive, at least with my children it's been that way. |
